Half an hour, free, no obligation. Tell us how you sell and what’s not working, and we’ll tell you what we’d do about it.
Every question answered within two working days. That's an SLA, not an intention.
Our connector pulls your sales straight out of Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify, so the numbers are right and nothing gets typed in twice. Most sellers pay £50–£100 a month for a third-party tool. Ours is included.
We specialise in Tiktok Shops - not an ecommerce page bolted onto a high-street practice.
On the call we’ll go through how you sell, where you sell, your VAT position and anything HMRC has sent you. You’ll get specific advice whether or not you engage us.
Great people speaking plain English that small business people like me can understand.
I am very thankful for the support by the team of Your E-commerce Accountant. Grace Morphew is very professional and kind who helps with every question you may have. Thank you
Been using Ben and his team from Your Ecommerce Accountant for the last 3 months — top class service and communication. They have been a great relief for me and my brother running a start up in the UK — highly recommend them. No hidden costs, great service and get the job done when asked.
I've been using Your Ecommerce Accountants for the past two years and couldn't be happier with their service. Ben has always been very helpful, approachable whenever I've needed support. It's good to have someone reliable who understands the needs of an e-commerce business.
I've been working with Ben and the rest of the team for the best part of 10 months, so happy to have engaged him in regards to my HMRC affairs. We are getting through it slowly but surely. Overall a wholesome experience. Thank you Your Ecommerce Accountant.
Ben was really nice and knowledgeable and was able to answer any queries we had. The process couldn't have been easier with our accounts and corporation tax. Quality service all round providing tax saving tips and advice. Will definitely be using their services again for next year's accounts.
Honestly, I couldn't have made it through the last few years without this company! I have no idea about returns, accounts or anything like this and I knew I could just email and I would get a quick response with help from a number of staff. Stefi, Anshe, Georgia and Giedre to name a few! You are truly amazing.
Helps us take the load of doing VAT returns and annual financial statements. Your Ecommerce Accountant is also great at communication.
I can't say enough good things about the service at YEA. Everyone I've interacted with has been professional and highly committed. My primary contact is Grace, and she is an absolute gem. Grace is the perfect example of someone who goes above and beyond for her clients. She has a truly proactive approach, consistently finding ways to help my business grow without me even having to ask. For a business in its initial stages, this kind of support is invaluable. She's not only punctual and knowledgeable but also takes the extra mile to find solutions for every problem. Her dedication and willingness to help are truly exceptional, and she's a major reason why I'm so happy with the service I receive.
I recently had the opportunity to engage in an initial consultation with Colin regarding VAT considerations for my Shopify store, especially concerning sales in other countries. Colin showed a great understanding of my situation, acknowledging my status as an accountant with limited VAT expertise diving into a new business venture. What I appreciated most about Colin's approach was his genuine concern for my best interests. Rather than pushing for immediate engagement, he recognised that, at this early stage, I am capable of managing certain aspects independently. His recommendation to postpone our collaboration until my shop is fully operational demonstrated both his integrity and commitment to providing value. He came across as approachable and knowledgeable. I appreciated Colin's transparency regarding fees and service offerings. He outlined the benefits of each option, ensuring I had a clear understanding of what would best serve my long-term interests. His professionalism, transparency, and genuine concern for my business's success were evident throughout our interaction.
I had a chat with Ben this morning and he provided enormous clarity allowing me to clearly see what my best course of action is going forward into the first year of setting up a dropship ecommerce business. He didn't try and sell me any services or products from his end whatsoever — just a genuine motive to help. It was very refreshing, and it was 9am Monday morning! My biggest concern was about IOSS and he dealt with that very quickly. The other major gremlin was submitting quarterlies when setting up a LTD company, and the bottom line was that until turnover reaches 85K there is very little need to worry about all that. I had read a huge amount and spent months researching my options and Ben cut through everything in about 10 minutes! I highly recommend anyone who is feeling blinded by the accountancy aspects of dropshipping get in touch with Ben because, as I say, the fog has lifted!
Ben and the team are really helpful. The thought of doing our own accounts is headache-inducing. Accounts is a part of our business we don't have to worry about and we trust the team to take care of things. They really understand ecommerce accounting and the nuances it involves — do not go to a traditional accountant if you sell online.
Business went from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands within a year. Having the correct accountant in place allows me to focus on this growth, as there is no way I would feel comfortable making this level of sales. It feels a bit like being on a NASA rocket — and luckily Your Ecommerce Accountant has the system which can keep up and give me confidence to truly reach for the stars.
Ben and his team were excellent. Pragmatic and helpful for us as a small company. Good communication and responsiveness. Deep understanding of different e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Etsy etc), integrations and sorting the right tax treatment for all that.
As a rapidly growing UK seller, I have been wanting to expand further to the US market and Ben has provided me with very good knowledge on this. This gives me a smooth transition to the US markets doing online arbitrage, hitting the biggest Amazon market in the world.
Had some inquiries about the process of self assessment and going into MTD. Samuel was very straight forward and clear, he took the time to understand my plans and gave me peace of mind. I'd recommend anyone to at least book the free consultation call. When you book you can leave some info about the situation or questions you would like to know, and when the call comes the 20 minutes you get is packed full of great knowledge, advice, peace of mind and value.
Had a great intro phone call with Samuel. He was super helpful, very informative but to the point — gave me the exact advice I was looking for about a few UK/US questions. I plan to work with these guys in the future. Definitely recommended.
Had a call with Colin Smith. I must say he was ready to answer all my questions and give me clarity on all grey areas. I will definitely recommend working with the e-commerce accountant.
After discovering Your Accountant on YouTube and finding their video series genuinely insightful, I decided to take up their complimentary call and I'm glad I did. Speaking with Sam was effortless, and his practical guidance was impressive for what was essentially a free consultation. I came away feeling confident and clear about my next steps. Should the need arise, I wouldn't hesitate to engage their full services; it's clear they have a wealth of accounting expertise to offer any business.
Your support recently has been nothing short of incredible. I especially appreciate Ben coming up with new ways of working and trying to make my role easier. Ben has clearly and accurately clarified my hours and hours of research and pointed me in the right direction.
Really pleased with the services offered by these guys. Completely free helpful advice with no pressure to sign up to services, thank you very much.
Clear, concise information all relevant to what I needed. No pressure to sign up or transact anything. Very helpful, thank you Sam!
Had a free consultation with Ben today. It was super helpful and he answered all of my questions. Thank you Ben!
Amazing company, extremely knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
Being the owner of multiple properties, I discovered I wasn't utilising my properties effectively so as to gain the most out of them financially. Thanks to that video it has changed my life and my family's tremendously. My eternal gratitude to you, keep up the good work.
I watched your video explaining side hustles and CIC status in light of the HMRC changes. It was very informative — definitely better to be prepared than sorry. Quality information!

You've seen the services. This is the part that actually changes your numbers.
Your TikTok Shop settlement is sales minus TikTok's commission, affiliate commissions, shipping, refunds and ad spend, all netted into one number. We split it back out and match it to your cost of goods, so you can see what each product really earns after creators and ads — not just what landed in the bank.
On TikTok, one video can do a quarter's sales in a week. We check your rolling 12-month turnover against the £90,000 VAT threshold every month, so you register on time rather than finding out months later with a backdated VAT bill to cover.
Affiliate commissions, free samples, gifted stock and LIVE promotions all have a cost, and some have VAT and tax consequences too. We record them properly and show you your return on each, so you know which creators are making you money and which are just making you busy.
EcomLedger reads your TikTok Shop settlements directly, so you never send us a report. It's ours, so when TikTok changes its fee lines or settlement format, we fix it rather than wait for a plugin vendor.
TikTok is a brilliant launchpad, but most sellers we work with add Amazon or Shopify as they scale. We only work with online sellers, so we'll help you plan the next channel, the right structure and the tax that comes with it. Book the free call and we'll tell you where you stand.
Most accountants take ages to reply to queries, we have an SLA of two working days to get back to you.
We are experts in ecommerce with experience of over 500 clients
We have developed our own software, eComLedger so you do not have to constantly send us reports. We combine this with Dext to ensure it is as easy as possible for you to share invoices with us.
We have a client area which is dedicated to teaching you the skills to unlock your potential, understand your numbers, make better decisions and make more profit.
Some accountants leave identifying tax savings to chance. We track it against every client so you can keep as much as your profit as possible.
A TikTok Shop accountant handles the bookkeeping, VAT, tax returns and year-end accounts for sellers on TikTok Shop, and knows how the platform’s money actually moves. TikTok pays you a net settlement after taking its commission, affiliate commissions, shipping, refunds and promotions. A specialist splits that back into its parts, so your sales, costs and VAT are reported correctly and you can see your real margin on each product.
Yes. Under the digital platform reporting rules, TikTok Shop, like eBay, Etsy and Amazon, must report sellers to HMRC who make 30 or more sales, or receive more than €2,000 (about £1,700), in a calendar year. The report includes your name, address, earnings and fees. Being reported doesn’t mean you owe tax, but HMRC will compare the figures with your tax return, and mismatches lead to “nudge letters”. If you’ve had one, speak to us before replying.
You must register for VAT when your taxable turnover goes over £90,000 in any rolling 12-month period, not just the tax year. That catches TikTok sellers out, because one viral video can push sales over the line within weeks. You must register within 30 days of the end of the month you crossed it. We check your rolling turnover every month so you register on time rather than paying backdated VAT on sales you’ve already made.
Record the full sales value as income, then record TikTok’s fees, affiliate commissions, shipping and refunds as separate costs. Don’t just enter the net amount that reaches your bank. Recording the net payout understates your turnover, which matters for the VAT threshold and for what HMRC receives about you, and it hides what each cost is doing to your margin. EcomLedger pulls your settlements in and splits them automatically.
Generally yes. Affiliate commissions and the cost of products you send to creators to promote your shop are normally allowable marketing costs for Income Tax or Corporation Tax. VAT is different. Genuine samples and small gifts (up to £50 per person over 12 months) usually don’t create a VAT charge, but higher-value gifted stock can. Keep a record of what you send, to whom and why.
Usually yes, if the product is given in exchange for content or promotion. HMRC treats it as payment in kind, so its value counts as taxable income alongside any cash commission. Unsolicited gifts with no obligation attached are treated differently. If you earn as a creator or affiliate as well as selling, our sister firm Your Influencer Accountant specialises in creator income.
Most sellers start as sole traders because it’s simpler and cheaper to run. A limited company often becomes more tax-efficient once profits are consistently high, and it separates the business from your personal finances. The right point depends on your profit, other income and how much you take out. We’ll compare both for you on a free call.
Yes, if you’re a sole trader above the income threshold. MTD for Income Tax started in April 2026 for sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000, and extends to those over £30,000 from April 2027 and over £20,000 from April 2028. Qualifying income is your gross sales before expenses, so a high-turnover, low-margin TikTok shop can be caught even if profits are modest. Limited companies aren’t affected.
Our monthly packages start from £50 a month, or £120 a month if you’re VAT registered. They cover bookkeeping, VAT returns, year-end accounts and tax returns, with no minimum term. One-off jobs, such as last year’s accounts or a VAT registration, are quoted at a fixed price before we start.
Yes. Most sellers we work with use more than one channel, and EcomLedger brings TikTok Shop, Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify into one set of books. You get one profit and loss that shows how each channel performs, rather than separate reports you have to reconcile yourself.
